Judô votuporanguense brilha em Minas

Com apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Esportes e Lazer, o Grêmio de Judô da Nado Livre Escola de Esportes representou Votuporanga na Copa Minas/São Paulo, realizada no último domingo (17), em Fronteira. 

Mais uma vez, os judocas votuporanguenses brilharam nos tatames, trazendo muitas medalhas para a cidade. 

Foram medalhistas de ouro, os atletas Rafael de Jesus Teixeira (Mirim – Super Pesado), Mateus Novais (Infantil-Ligeiro), Alana Cortez (Infantil - Meio pesado), Andreza da Silva Feliciano (Infanto-Juvenil – Ligeiro), Gabriele Antunes (Infanto-Juvenil – Médio) e Thauana Lopes da Silva (Infanto-juvenil - meio pesado). 

Além destes, Pedro Henrique Federissi conquistou a Prata na categoria infanti-Médio, enquanto Diego Antunes Eduardo foi bronze no Infantil-médio, mesma proeza de Iara Inácio Malta, no Infanto-juvenil meio médio.

Judo votuporanguense shines in Minas Gerais

With support from the Municipal Sports and Recreation, the Guild's Freestyle Judo School Sports represented Votuporanga Cup Minas / São Paulo, held last Sunday (17), in Frontier.

Again, judokas votuporanguenses shone on the mat, bringing many medals for the city.

Were gold medalists, athletes Rafael de Jesus Teixeira (Mirim - Super Heavy), Matt Novak (Child-Light), Alana Cortez (Child - Medium heavy), Andreza Feliciano da Silva (Children and Youth - Light), Gabriele Antunes (Children and Youth - Medium) Thauana and Lopes da Silva (Children and Youth - heavyweight).

Besides these, Pedro Henrique Federissi won the Silver in the category infant-East, while Diego Eduardo Antunes was in Child-medium bronze, the same feat of Iara Ignatius Malta, Children and Youth in middle school.

Maranhão pode sediar torneio internacional de judô em 2012

SÃO LUÍS -  O Maranhão tem grandes chances de sediar, em 2012, uma competição internacional de judô. A informação foi confirmada pelo secretário de Estado de Esporte e Lazer, Joaquim Haickel, durante o Campeonato Brasileiro de Judô Região I, realizado no fim de semana, no Ginásio Castelinho, em São Luís.

  De acordo com Haickel, a Secretaria de Estado de Esporte e Lazer (Sedel) está empenhada em trazer um importante campeonato de judô para a capital maranhense. “É um desejonosso sim. Pretendemos trazer para o Maranhão um desafio internacional de judô. Os atletas da seleção brasileira poderão enfrentar os melhores judocas do mundo em São Luís”, disse.

  E o desejo de o Maranhão sediar um evento internacional no ano em que São Luís completa 400 anos foi bem aceito pelo presidente da Confederação Brasileira de Judô (CBJ), Paulo Wanderley. Segundo o dirigente, São Luís tem tudo para receber eventos internacionais no ano que vem, além de contar com a simpatia da CBJ.

  “Atualmente, o Maranhão pode receber qualquer campeonato nacional sem problema. Para sediar uma competição internacional, serão necessárias pequenas mudanças. No entanto, vejo com muita simpatia o Maranhão participar de um evento internacional no ano do aniversário de São Luís”, declarou Paulo Wanderley.

Para o presidente da Federação Maranhense de Judô (FMJ), Francisco Neto, eventos internacionais são importantes para o crescimento do judô no estado. “O Maranhão precisa. É importante para o nosso estado. Isso vai inserir o Maranhão em competições de alto nível. Fico feliz por essa iniciativa da Sedel em tentar trazer uma competição internacional para cá”, afirmou.

Brasileiro de Judô

Os judocas maranhenses conquistaram um resultado expressivo no Campeonato Brasileiro de Judô Região I, competição realizada no Ginásio Castelinho, em São Luís, e que teve o apoio da Secretaria de Estado de Esporte e Lazer (Sedel). Ao todo, a equipe do Maranhão somou 58 medalhas, sendo que 17 foram de ouro, 16 de prata e 25 de bronze.

Com a campanha, o Maranhão terminou a competição na segunda classificação geral. O Pará foi o grande vencedor do campeonato, com 68 medalhas no total: 24 de ouro, 13 de prata e 31 de bronze.

Stanley Torres é ouro no Judô

O judoca e aluno do curso de Fisioterapia da Faculdade CEUT, Stanley Torres, foi campeão no Campeonato Brasileiro de Judô – Região I, na sua atual categoria (até 73 kg), realizado no último fim de semana em São Luis (MA).

Stanley lutou com atletas do Pará, Piauí e Amapá. As três primeiras lutas, apesar de um machucado, foram de ipon. Já o quarto e último duelo, contra o melhor atleta do Amapá, o judoca começou perdendo, e faltando apenas três segundos para o término conseguiu a vitória e conseqüente quarta medalha de ouro consecutiva no Campeonato Brasileiro de Judô – Região I.

Com a vitória, a aluno atleta está um passo a mais que os demais judocas para o Campeonato Brasileiro – Fase Final.

Stanley Torres, sempre muito bem treinado pelo seu técnico, Abdias Queiroz, se prepara agora para outras significantes competições, que acontecem em maio do corrente ano. O Troféu Brasil Interclubes, um campeonato nacional e considerado um dos mais difíceis do País, que ocorre em Brasília (DF), de 06 a 08. E a Seletiva das Olimpíadas Universitárias – JUB’S, que será em Teresina, no dia 14.

Judoka and student in the School of Physiotherapy CEUTA, Stanley Torres, was champion in Brazilian Judo Championships - Region I, in its current category (up to 73 kg), held last weekend in Sao Luis (MA).

Stanley struggled with athletes of Pará, Piauí and Amapá. The first three fights, despite an injury, were iphone. Stanley Torres, always very well coached by his coach, Abdias Queiroz, now prepares to other significant competitions, which take place in May of this year. The Brazil Interclub Trophy, a national championship and is considered one of the toughest in the country, which takes place in Brasilia (DF), 06-08.
