Duas atletas da seleção brasileira de judô estão vivendo um Dia das Mães diferente neste domingo. Em 2005 as judocas Ketleyn Quadros e Erika Miranda trocaram Brasília por Belo Horizonte (MG), onde passaram a lutar pelo Minas Tênis Clube e abriram mão de ficar perto de suas famílias. As duas judocas foram campeãs em suas categorias no Troféu Brasil e deram de presente para as mamães as medalhas de ouro.
"Não consigo lembrar o último Dia das Mães que passei com ela. Com certeza este é um momento especial a gente", diz Erika Miranda, que depois de vencer sua categoria passou toda a tarde com a mãe na arquibancada acompanhando as lutas de sábado dos companheiros de clube.
Medalhista de bronze nas Olimpíadas de 2008, Ketleyn Quadros estava duplamente feliz. Além dos mimos da mamãe Rosemary, a atleta poderá passar o Dia das Mães com a avó Marilda.
"Ela não é linda?", diz Ketleyn enquanto recebia um abraço da avó logo após descer do pódio com a medalha de ouro. "Sem dúvida a torcida delas me motivou para conseguir este excelente resultado. Hoje eu vou aproveitar cada segundo, porque, como a Erika falou, faz muito tempo que a gente não passa o Dia das Mães em casa".
As mamães Lúcia e Rosemary ficaram conhecidas em todo o país em 2008, quando atravessaram o planeta e foram até Pequim acompanharem as filhas nas Olimpíadas. Érika acabou sendo cortada pouco antes do início da competição, mas, Ketleyn, fez história e se tornou a primeira brasileira a conquistar uma medalha olímpica em um esporte individual.
"Eu nem sabia que ela ia para a China. Quando eu já estava hospedada na Vila Olímpica, recebi um e-mail dela avisando. Minha mãe é uma guerreira", comenta Ketleyn Quadros.

Selection of athletes have Mother's Day Special
Two athletes from the Brazilian team of judo are living a different Mother's Day on Sunday. In 2005 the judoka Erika Miranda Ketleyn Boards and exchanged Brasilia for Belo Horizonte (MG), where they fight for Minas Tennis Club and gave up to be near their families. Both judoka were champions in their categories at the Brazil Trophy and was given a gift for moms gold medals.
"I can not remember the last Mother's Day I spent with her. Surely this is a special moment to us, " says Erika Miranda, who after winning its class spent the afternoon with mom in the stands following the struggles of Saturday club mates.
Bronze medalist in the 2008 Olympics, Ketleyn Quadros was doubly happy. In addition to the pampering mom Rosemary, the athlete will spend Mother's Day with her grandmother Marilda.
"Is not she beautiful?" says Ketleyn while receiving a hug from his grandmother shortly after getting off the podium with the gold medal. "No doubt the fans of them motivated me to achieve this excellent result. Today I will enjoy every second because, as Erika said, long ago, we did not pass the Mother's Day at home. "
Moms Lucy and Rosemary became known throughout the country in 2008, when the planet crossed and went to accompany his daughters in Beijing Olympics. Erika ended up being cut just before the start of the competition, but Ketleyn, made history and became the first Brazilian to win an Olympic medal in an individual sport.
"I did not know she was going to China. When I was staying in the Olympic Village, I received an email warning her. My mother is a warrior, " said Ketleyn Quadros
