Centro de judô sai este ano, diz Nilo

O secretário de Esportes e Lazer de Mogi das Cruzes, Nilo Guimarães, confirmou que o Município vai receber até o final de 2012 um Centro de Referência de Judô de Alto Rendimento. O projeto é uma promessa dos senadores Marcelo Crivella (PRB) e Aloizio Mercadante (PT), através de uma emenda parlamentar no valor de R$ 10 milhões do orçamento do Governo Federal. A informação foi divulgada na tarde de ontem durante visita do ex-judoca e medalhista olímpico Henrique Guimarães, no lançamento oficial da parceria Palmeiras/Mogi/Academia Titans.

"Já estamos batalhando na parte burocrática do lançamento do Centro Nacional de Treinamento para o judô na nossa Cidade. A etapa do Mundial de Judô, nos dias 6, 7 e 8 de maio, em Mogi, também faz parte do projeto", revelou o secretário, ao lembrar que o empreendimento específico para atender o judô foi unânime em uma das últimas visitas do ministro do Esporte Orlando Silva a Mogi das Cruzes.

Nilo Guimarães, no entanto, ainda não soube informar os prazos para início das obras, mas acredita que o Centro de Referência estará finalizado até o final de 2012. "Ontem estive em uma reunião com o Maurício (Carlos dos Santos, diretor executivo da Confederação Brasileira de Judô). Ele até passou uma notícia importante de que a Confederação mudou o enfoque e quer investir na base. Portanto, vão acelerar todo o processo e contribuir com mais recursos para que a gente possa realizar a obra num espaço curto de tempo", explicou.

A obra, segundo Nilo, saerá realizada ao lado do Ginásio Municipal Professor Hugo Ramos, no Mogilar . "Uma equipe da CBJ estará em Mogi junto com a Secretaria de Planejamento, nosso secretário Chavedar (João Francisco), para realizar o projeto todo", informou o secretário.

Ainda de acordo com o chefe da pasta do Esporte, o Centro de Judô de Alto Rendimento vai contar com 150 lugares para alojamento, oito mini arenas de treinos, anfiteatro e toda a estrutura para o desenvolvimento do esporte. "É mais um grande equipamento esportivo que está chegando. Daqui uns anos isso vai refletir mesmo na Cidade. Vamos tentar entregar algo pelo menos no fim de 2012".

A implantação do projeto em Mogi das Cruzes também foi muito elogiado pelo visitante, o ex-judoca Henrique Guimarães, atual coordenador de judô da Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras. "A Cidade vai ter o que há de melhor. Certamente serão fechados parcerias e convênios para desenvolver a modalidade. Isso acaba encurtando o espaço entre a Confederação, o mundo e Mogi. Até porque na região Sudeste será o único em termos de Centro de Treinamentos da CBJ. Terá um na Bahia e outro aqui na Cidade", concluiu.

Nilo Guimaraes, however, still did not know the deadlines for commencement of works, but believes the Reference Center will be completed by the end of 2012. The project implementation in Mogi das Cruzes was also highly commended by the visitor, the former judoka Henrique Guimaraes, current coordinator of judo Society Sports Palmeiras.
