Há um mês, a Seleção Brasileira de judô estava mobilizada com a realização dos maiores eventos da modalidade no País, o Grand Slam do Rio de Janeiro e a Copa do Mundo de São Paulo. Entre medalhistas olímpicos e campeões mundiais, atletas de ponta subiram no tatame objetivando medalhas e a preciosa pontuação no ranking olímpico.
Enquanto isso, a Federação Gaúcha de Judô (FGJ) pôs em prática seu plano de capacitação de treinadores, ao enviar seis técnicos para acompanhar in loco os dois torneios - um trio em cada. Passados os primeiros 30 dias desde a aplicação da iniciativa da FGJ, alunos e atletas já começaram a perceber os benefícios da medida, custeada em parte pela CBJ.
“O aprendizado na viagem reflete 100% aos atletas”, assegurou o professor Juliano Campos, da Unisc, que acompanhou o Grand Slam.
“Num evento como este, se percebe a importância da concentração nas lutas. O alto rendimento não aceita o erro.”
Para Daniel Pires, da Sogipa, que também foi ao Rio, “ter contato com o pessoal de ponta dá uma noção como os alunos estão”. Ele destacou a importância da iniciativa da FGJ:
“É muito importante para se atualizar e tentar incorporar estratégias das escolas japonesa e europeia. Eles são muito mais estratégicos”, apontou.
“Estou na FGJ desde 1986. Até então, para se ter um investimento deste, só se tirasse do próprio bolso. Uma medida como esta é extremamente importante e é preciso manter este caminho.”
Além de Juliano e Daniel, o professor Sandro Nery acompanhou as lutas do Grand Slam de perto.
Uma semana depois do Rio, outros três senseis gaúchos estiveram em São Paulo, observando a Copa do Mundo. André Oliveira, da Physio, comentou que apenas ao ouvir relatos sobre o evento, seus atletas ficaram mais motivados.
“Mostrei fotos e gravações das lutas para eles. É um grande motivador para quem está aprendendo”, relatou.
Coincidência ou não a equipe de Bento Gonçalves sagrou-se campeã da Copa Caxias, a primeira competição organizada pela FGJ após os torneios internacionais no Brasil.
A concentração foi o que mais chamou atenção de Rafael Oliveira, do GN União.
“Passei para os meus atletas que mesmo os mais focados encontram dificuldades, então, quem quer chegar ao alto nível precisa abdicar de muita coisa”, avaliou.
“Para crescer, tem que ter vivência com os melhores.”
Além de elogiar a medida da FGJ, Rafael sugeriu a expansão da medida, com intercâmbio de professores em outros países:
“Só tem a acrescentar”, acredita.
Treinador da Fênix Judô e outras escolas, Luiz Bayard pediu continuidade ao programa da FGJ.
“Acredito que seja uma política acertada. Oportuniza os técnicos uma experiência importante. Isso nos ajuda no cotidiano”, afirmou. Ao falar sobre a sua observação em São Paulo, contou que percebeu novidades:
“Sempre aparece uma coisa nova, pela diversidade e qualidade”. Garantiu, também, que elas serão aplicadas nos treinos.
